About Elmore James and Koko Taylor
Elmore James and Koko Taylor are the
newest pair of Blue Throated macaws at The Blues Conservatory.
As members of the flock environment, they were constant companions from
the time he moved into the habitat.
Koko Taylor Blues hatched on Sept. 3, 2002, under the rehab regime in place
for Founder Pair 2. They raised her until she joined the flock in the summer
of 2003.
Elmore hatched in June, 2004 and was allowed by aviculturist Wendy Craig
to be reared by his wild-caught parents at her aviary in Texas.
